Small Alpaca Farms of America is a co-operative of farms owning 20 or less alpacas. If you are a small farm, and quality alpacas and quality service is important to you, SAFA is the answer. Our organization is committed to the development and the success of our small alpaca farm members. SAFA farm members provide service and the "personal interest" necessary for your success.

Each member of SAFA is committed to assist in your business development, both before and after the sale. By joining SAFA you become part of an elite group of dedicated alpaca enthusiasts. When you purchase an animal or service from a SAFA farm you automatically receive the benefits of a collaborative knowledge base and herd support that many of the large farms are not willing or able to give.
Many of our farms have show champions or show-quality animals with well-chosen foundation animals that will help you develop a sound herd from the very start of your alpaca farming venture.
