We started looking for a property in 2006 and finally found something right outside of Tularosa. We moved in in August but had to wait to get our alpacas (which we purchased in October) until we sold our other house and then built pens. Finally in April 2007 they arrived! Two pregnant females and one male. Right after that we also got two llamas to act as guard animals should the need ever arise. To this day they haven't had to prove themselves. This Accoyo/Alianza male is from Hemingway/Victor lines. He has extremely nice conformation and an eye catching presence. His fleece is very dense, with fine, medium frequency, high amplitude crimp.
